All homes are not created equally. Oftentimes, consumers will choose their builder primarily enticed by a low base price. Buyer beware, these types of builders are using what is called "builder grade" materials. These are typically cheaper materials that will not stand up to the test of time. When comparing builders, make sure you are comparing apples to apples because if your home ends up being built with "builder grade" materials, it may look acceptable to an untrained eye at first, but within a few short years it will show it's age many times over.
